Japanese design visionary Takahiro Miyashita rose to prominence as the founder of avant-garde cult label Number (N)ine. In 2009, Miyashita went on to introduce  TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. He has continued as the brand’s sole designer since its launch in 2010. Taking cues from musicians and Western Americana, Miyashita’s multilayered, somber-hued collections often feature contrasting proportions, asymmetric styling, and ever-evolving conceptual themes.
